'When the pandemic started my 20 year career as a professional makeup artist came to a shocking hault. Like many, I found that my job that often felt critically important was deemed, unessential. So, also like many, I baked bread, played board games, took walks, and did lots of projects around the house. Next, I found I had time to dabble in more creative pursuits. I did some knitting, macrame, and even sewed a quilt. Finally with faces to paint still scarce, projects checked off my list and free time ahead of me, I decided to try my hand at painting on paper. I am excited to report- my paintings turned out pretty good! For the past 2 years I have been practicing - trying different mediums from watercolor to oil paint and various subjects from macro images to huge landscapes. I am ready to share my work with all of you! I hope these pieces, while still 'non-essential', bring a smile. Enjoy!
